I currently serve repeat clients or people who need a doula who is equipped to work with families who have a history of trauma. As a full-time student I have very limited availability.
As a respected doula, I pride myself in providing you and your partner with care, understanding, information, and guidance throughout, during, and after the birthing process. Our initial meeting will help me tailor my service and approach to fit your needs, as every pregnancy and family is different. To schedule an initial consultation or to learn more about my practice, please contact me. I take one to two clients a month, focusing on personalized support. Limiting my number of clients allows me to spend real time with families and customizing the amount and kind of support they need. Is your partner unable to attend a well-pregnancy provider visit? Not a problem, I am happy to join you! Do you worry you'll get lost in the shuffle of large agencies? Not a problem, I create genuine relationships with my clients!
Prenatal Visit
After beginning our relationship, I am committed to the wellbeing of your growing family, available whenever needed throughout your entire pregnancy, as well as after giving birth. I will be there to provide you with continuous emotional and physical support and answer any questions you may have. Our prenatal visits will last 2-3 hours and take place in your home or location of your choice. From our initial meeting and through your pregnancy and delivery, I take the time to get to know you, your concerns, and your needs. I’m always available to contact by phone/email throughout and will provide everything you require to make sure your experience is as calm and confident as possible. We will have two formal prenatal visits with the option of additional visits at no extra charge. Extra visits can include but are not limited to, a quick stop at your house to demonstrate positions if your baby is breech, phone calls to discuss results and questions to ask your provider. Maybe you or your partner want to share something privately, I am ALWAYS available. While there are two structured visits, it is critical that we foster a healthy and open relationship so that I can best support you. I am always happy to add additional visits at no charge to better support you and your family.
Once we've signed a contract, you will receive a welcome packet, full access to my lending library, unlimited phone, email, and text support throughout your pregnancy.
Labor Support
Get personalized support throughout the entirety of your birthing experience. As a Doula, I promise to offer unwavering support to you and your family before, during, and after birth. I will gladly join you at home in early labor, stay with you for the duration of your delivery, and provided continued support in the immediate postpartum period. We will tailor fit your birth plan to your needs and desires, creating custom labor support. After all, your story will be as unique as your family.
Postpartum Support
I will stay with you for about two hours after delivery. During that time, I will help establish first latch or bottle feeding, ensure you and any support people have a way to get food, and answer any immediate questions. Within the first seven days postpartum, I will come to your home for a visit.
